This thermometer 
can display temperatures in Fahrenheit or Celsius. To switch from one switch to the other, you must go into the battery compartment to find the switch.
If you get the thermometer directly on the display and press the power button to turn it on, do not be surprised if there is no display on the display, as you will need to open the sensor and the temperature measurement will start automatically.
